A Cat’s Soliloquoy – Learning Japanese Through Poetry

This is a collection of poetry that spans twenty years in the life of a Japanese girl whose dream is to teach her native language to non-native speakers abroad.

The poems were originally written in Japanese and translated into English. Both are included here, the Japanese version being followed by the English. The Japanese poems include a hiragana rendering above the kanji so as to be readily accessible for Japanese language learners.
