Edmond Dantès is a young sailor destined for a brilliant career. But during his engagement party is suddenly arrested, accused of conspiracy and imprisoned in the Château d’If. After fourteen years of imprisonment he manages to escape and finds the treasure on the island of Monte-Cristo. He then becomes rich and powerful, but Edmond only has one wish: revenge.
